| Envirowattle straw Wattles are a new innovative product suitable for multiple applications, primarily Silt
Prevention and Erosion Control. Manufactured from weed free agricultural straw contained within a bespoke,
fine gauge, woven net tube, making the wattles, light, strong and extremely flexible. As an agricultural by-product, wheat straw only has two main potential uses, animal bedding and more recently, as a fuel for power stations. The benefits of wheat straw are, that it can be sourced locally, reducing transportation requirements to an absolute minimum and it also offers the additional benefits of soil fertilisation from the Wattles decomposition. With a biodegradable figure in excess of 99.5%, straw wattles are an extremely eco friendly product. |
